Who we are
This website is operated by Michelstadt Ltd, trading as TowerTech, a company registered in England and Wales with company number 15106065. Our registered office is Brulimar House, Jubilee Road, Middleton, M24 2LX. We are the data controller for personal information collected through this site. You can contact us about privacy at info@tower-tech.co.uk.
What we collect
We only collect what you choose to send us through the contact form or by email:
- your name, email address and, if you provide it, your phone number
- the subject, area of interest and message you write
- technical information needed to protect the form from abuse, such as your IP address and a Cloudflare Turnstile check result
We do not use advertising, tracking or analytics cookies on this website.
How we use it
We use the information you send to reply to your enquiry and, if you become a client, to provide our services. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries, or taking steps at your request before entering into a contract. We do not sell your information or use it for unrelated marketing.
Spam and bot protection
The contact form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks that a real person is submitting it without using tracking cookies. We also apply rate limits and automated checks to block abusive submissions. A short lived, anonymised record of the sending IP address may be held for a few hours to enforce those limits.
Who we share it with
We use a small number of trusted service providers to run this website and deliver your message:
- Cloudflare, Inc. hosts this website, provides security and runs Turnstile.
- SMTP2GO delivers the contact form email to our inbox.
- Our email provider stores the messages we receive and send.
Some of these providers may process data outside the UK. Where they do, the transfer is protected by appropriate safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to work are deleted within 24 months. If you become a client, we keep records for as long as needed to provide our services and meet our legal and accounting obligations.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to access, correct or delete your personal information, to object to or restrict how we use it, and to data portability. To exercise any of these rights, email info@tower-tech.co.uk.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
