Trust nothing, verify everything

Access from anywhere, without opening your network to everyone.

04 / Zero Trust and Remote Access

Opening a port so staff can reach a server from home is still one of the most common ways businesses get breached. Traditional VPNs help, but once someone is connected they can often reach far more than they should.

Zero Trust Network Access flips that around. Every request is checked against who the user is, what device they are on and what they are allowed to reach. Nothing is trusted just because it is inside the network.

What we deliver

01

Cloudflare Zero Trust

Cloudflare Tunnel and Access put internal apps behind identity checks with no inbound ports open on your firewall.

02

Overlay networks

NetBird and ZeroTier connect people, servers and sites over encrypted private networks, with access rules per user and per device.

03

WireGuard VPN

Lean, modern VPN tunnels for site to site links and the cases where a classic VPN is still the right answer.

04

Apache Guacamole gateway

Clientless remote desktop in the browser. Staff reach RDP and SSH sessions through a secure web gateway with MFA and nothing to install.

05

Least privilege access

People reach the specific systems they need, not the whole network. Access is reviewed and removed cleanly when roles change.

What you end up with

Outcomes, not just installs.

Cloudflare Zero TrustNetBirdZeroTierWireGuardApache Guacamole
  1. No remote desktop or VPN ports exposed to the internet
  2. Access decided per person and per device
  3. Remote desktop through any browser, protected by MFA
  4. A clear record of who can reach what

Good to know

Questions we get asked

Is a traditional VPN still good enough?

Sometimes, for example for site to site links. The weakness is that once someone is connected they can often reach far more than they need. Zero Trust access checks every request against the person, their device and what they are allowed to reach.

Can staff reach office systems from home without opening ports?

Yes. Cloudflare Tunnel, NetBird or ZeroTier connect people to the systems they need with nothing exposed on your firewall, so there is nothing for internet scanners to find.

Can staff use remote desktop without installing anything?

Yes. An Apache Guacamole gateway gives browser based access to RDP and SSH sessions, protected by MFA, with no client software to install.
